As with any contest You need a price. Something that would convince people to go out of their way to go where it being held. Also a entrance fee might help cover the price. plus doing it in leage with guinness book of records would covince more to come.

Yes, willis was convicted of this 1, one animals supposed theft. There really was no theft and it is his crazy ex-wife Betty Broadhurst and her girlfriend from Athens Ga, Marla Gray who orchestrated the whole point the finger at Jim scam. Sicko's and where is the animal going to end up? One can hope not back in the neglectful hands of its previous owners.

Actually, Damon was stolen during the summer of 2007 and was never taken to Ohio. He was recovered at the home of Robert Hoggard, the friend that Jim was living with at the time.

Jim Willis stole this dog and there were several well known people in rescue who arranged transport of this dog, as well as the woman who had the dog when it was recovered. Everyone involved in this knew the dog was stolen. What they didn't count on was that someone would ever find the dog.

There is a lot of evidence that is being turned over to the authorities for review and I feel certain the woman who had the dog, as well as the people who arranged transport will be charged.

Stay tuned, there will be a lot more information on this soon!

I just learned that James Willis, 52, was convicted of stealing Chrissy and the other dog, which is named Damon. They were convicted in the Pender County community of Rocky Point, which is near Wilmington, North Carolina. Willis stole the dogs because he upset with the owners allowing dogs to remain outside.
